Hi, I'm Sarah Canul and I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington but have also lived in Cancun, Mexico. I am a recent Bastyr University graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Culinary Arts. I have 8 years of a wide variety of experience working in the food industry and enjoy being in the kitchen. Apart from my love of cooking and food, I also enjoy learning about plants, herbs and natural medicine.
I am interested in meeting down to earth people who like to adventure through new places, go hiking, grab a beer, or whatever else is around and fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I am currently planning a four month trip through Ecuador and Colombia, all of Central America and Mexico. I would love to trade any cooking/cleaning/gardening/etc. services for a place to stay, or simply to meet people along the journey from which I can learn from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to competitively box and had four fights, the last 3 were wins, which was an amazing accomplishment from hours and hours of hard work and training!
