I'm Sarah, I'm 26 years old and am from London. My philosophy is 'always take the fun route' and it's served me pretty well so far!

I've always had a keen interest in travel, so I saved up for a couple of years, quit my job and embarked on a year of solo travel. It's been the best experience of my life!

So far I've travelled Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Phillipines, Cambodia, Mayalsia, Borneo, Java, Flores, Bali, Fiji, New Zealand and arriving in Australia at the end of November.

I've met lots of people who have couch surfed along the way and had some great experiences so I'm really keen to give it a go! I would also be very happy to return the favour when I return back to London.

I'm a very laid back, sociable and tidy person and love to meet locals to get insider knowledge.

I also LOVE cooking and eating, so am always happy to rustle up a meal for anyone who is kind enough to host me 😁

I love poached eggs, I actually run a poached egg appreciation society. No jokes.

I'm a very active person and love to hike and go running. I'm a total water baby and love Scuba Diving!

I also played on a Netball team at home and went to the gym as much as I could!

Music, Movies, and Books

Before I left home, I was working in Studio Marketing for The Walt Disney Company, so have a keen interest in film. I love a bit of Marvel. My favourite film of all time is Chef and I would love to have my own food truck one day!

I have a mixed taste in music, I shamefully like chart music, but also love Latin music and big band Jazz 😁
