Just finished up a Master's in Biomedical Engineering at UW-Madison in August. I've absolutely loved my time in Madison so far. I was first introduced to couchsurfing summer of 2016 while doing a bit of travelling before grad school started, hitting 32 states, where I stayed with some incredible hosts in Arizona and New Mexico with my more surfing-savvy friend, K (aka Kinetic Alnajar). I was incredibly lucky to have found a beautiful house to rent in Madison that just so happens to have a tiny extra room! It's doubling as a rock climbing and guest room, but let us know and we'll set up a bed!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and share stories and experiences. I was so lucky to be able to couchsurf that summer and now that my space allows it I'd love to give back to this beautiful community. Besides, "life begins at the end of your comfort zone" and I've been trying to live a little more.

Interests

I'd say acro yoga is my main activity and crew in Madison followed closely by various partner dances, most significantly west coast swing. I'm happy to show you the basics and depending on when you're in town, would be happy to bring you to any and everything going on. I like to stay busy. I also attend regular board game nights, love biking around the area, and try to get out of town for a hike occasionally too. Also got scuba certified last spring before a dive trip to Hawaii.
