About Me
I’m Sarah (or Sári in Hungarian), from Australia, but half Hungarian.
I study international studies at Sydney university, but I’ve suspended my studies this year to spend a year in Europe (predominantly Hungary). I speak Hungarian and I’m involved in many Hungarian activities - Hungarian school, Hungarian scouts, Hungarian folk dancing - all very important to me. I also love to play music, I play the piano, violin and viola.
I’m also a big lover of the outdoors - I love camping and the beach (camping on the beach is a winner)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most of the 'classics' of literature - Jane Austen, Orwell etc :) at the moment I’m trying to read more in Hungarian (because I’m lazy!). I also really enjoy reading non-fiction books, especially about international affairs and learning about all the connections and links between history and our current world. I mostly listen to Hungarian folk music and classical - some of my favourite classical composers are Stravinsky, Bartók, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov. I'm not super into movies, I'd like to catch up on some of the cult classics that I've missed.
