Overview
About Me
Currently in a graduate program at UCLA, earning a teaching credential in secondary social studies and a MA in education. Really interested in K-12 education, discussing/working to dismantle systemic injustice, and learning about the things people are passionate about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love traveling, want to travel more, often lack the funds to make that reality. I'm exploring CS for the first time to try and make finances less of a burden in that respect.
Interests
Public education, popular education, (aspiring) allyship, body positivity, queerness, cats.

Music, Movies, and Books
I just really don't have strong preferences here, and I'm learning to be okay with that. I'll probably like whatever you want to share, though. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
More than teaching, I like co-learning. I'm trying to practice writing, painting, cooking, and crocheting lately -- so if you want to do any of those things, I'd love to do them together. We can talk about unpacking the dominant narratives which litter California middle and high school history standards too, if you want.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Smiles, baked goods, quietness/calmness, friendship bracelets, rewritten pop songs to fit your real-life situations (if the inspiration is there -- I can't force this).
