Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in New York City, studied Environmental Education/Policy in Buffalo, NY. For the past two years I've been living in France and teaching English. Right now, I spend nearly all my free days discovering small towns in the Ardeche and Provence, hiking, and exploring nature. My current mission is to find the best baguette (in France) and the best pastry (in the World).
I also studied Sustainable Development in Copenhagen for 5 months where I fell in love with Scandinavia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the funnest parts of travelling is meeting new people and locals who can show you what "real" life is like in the country or city. Some of my favorite travelling memories have just been drinking a beer in a bar and talking to locals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I mostly listen to mellow music, rock, folk, indie, and some French artists. I love live music of nearly any genre. I draw the line at American Country music.
Movies: The Princess Bride is an all time favorite, but I've found myself referencing The Parent Trap a lot.
Books: Harry Potter of course, but I've been reading a lot of mystery novels and dystopian fiction and whatever I can find in hostel book swaps
