Can't wait to meet you!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I are on a 4-5 month cycling voyage around Europe, a longtime dream of ours. One of the best parts about bicycle touring is being immersed in the cultures you travel through. You travel slowly down roads you normally wouldn't take in a motor vehicle, have countless spontaneous encounters with strangers that you'll remember forever, and give/receive kindness constantly. The beauty of the pure generosity you receive from hosts is priceless. We can't wait to host people ourselves when we have our own place sometime in the near future!

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS
Looking for suggestions on authors from the countries we're going through!
My main love is short stories:
Alice Munro, Jorge Luis Borges, Lydia Davis, George Saunders, Etgar Keret, and many others...
MOVIES
Shamelessly in love with every movie Wes Anderson has made, and the Coen brothers. Big fan of classic horror: Suspiria, The Thing, Alien, etc.
MUSIC
I'll give just about any new (or old) music a chance. Play me your favorite tunes please!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2014 I rode a bicycle from East to West across the United States, with a nonprofit called Bike and Build. Our team raised thousands of dollars for affordable housing, and we helped build affordable homes along the way. It was INCREDIBLE!!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to pick up drinks for the evening! And my husband is a pretty good cook so we'll gladly prepare dinner for all of us to share if you'd like. We'll wash the night's dishes and leave your place cleaner than we found it either way.
We would also love to feature you on our web project, Rolling Tableau (www.rollingtableau.com). We are exploring the idea of trust and what motivates people like you to invite strangers into your home, refusing to live in fear like so much of the world does. We conduct short interviews and take photos of hosts and their homes. Of course, this is all with your permission and it's totally ok if you don't want to participate! We would still love to meet you anyway :)
