About Me

My name is Sarah Fajon, 24 years old, I was born and raised in a town called Albi, in south west of France. I love traveling and stretching my comfort zone. Therefore, when I was 22 I decided to go study in Madrid for 6 months even though I knew little Spanish and nobody there. I'm much better at it now and have amazing Spanish friends! More recently, I lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay area for a year and just moved back to Europe. I am now ready to go explore new horizons!
I'm a friendly person, I love interacting with people and learning from them. Sharing good moments and creating memories with new (and old) friends, self improvement and growing up as a person are what I'm looking for when I'm traveling abroad. I guess that's what I am also looking for in the CouchSurfing experience. Living with locals, experiencing their way of life, learning the good tips and tricks, sharing some good laughs and some good wine. Enjoying life and knowing that even though not everybody will stay in touch at least you and I were part of great human experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess I kind of answered that with the previous question but I would add that CouchSurfing is an other way for me to stretch my comfort zone. After all, going to sleep at someone's place you've never met, in a foreign country and on a couch can be a pretty comfort-stretching experience. Don't you think? At least for me, and until I've tried it, it is a little bit... But I'm willing to do it!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of latino music these days as I started learning salsa last year. I also looove swing and jazz music as I dance lindy up.
I started to have an unexpected interest into horror movies, which I never had before. My goal is to watch The Exorcist by the end of this year.
Book reading..... It's been too long since I had a good book in my hands. I like Sci-fi and fantasy. Any good suggestion?

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: French and how to do proper French crêpes.
Learn: Yoga! Is anyone willing to teach me yoga? Pleeease!
Share: Cheese, saussison and wine! The perfect ingredients in the recipe of good moments! And my couch, whenever I will have one!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my foodiness! I can cook you French meals if you can show me your local cuisine and customs. Where I am from it is said that the best sharing is made around the table! "A table!"
I like sharing travel stories but also about tradition and how things were, are and you think will be, in your country.
But in a general manner, just sharing a good time with my host is my goal here. Creating friendships and new good stories to tell.
