About Me
I love meeting new people, trying new food, and going to new places. Although, I'm twenty-nine years old and I realize that what I've been doing the last twelve years has not made me happy, and I would like to venture out to new cities, states, and countries. I believe traveling will be the best form of education I could ever receive.
I haven't been outside of the US, and I've only been to some states. It makes me want to cry to admit I'm not well-traveled. I've been to Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Washington, and of course Nevada many times to party in Las Vegas. The cities I enjoy in California are San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles. I grew up in LA county.
I'm very interested in other people's lives, and would like to meet strangers more often so I can write about the experience! Of course, I would hope these strangers would become friends and stay connected. (:
Some of the places I've volunteered my time were LA Food Bank, School on Wheels, and Hospice Care. I have a commitment to stay in California until August 2016, and after planning a few trips I'll be able to volunteer my time in other countries starting in November 2016.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm not meant to stay put in the San Gabriel Valley--only knowing the 10 and 210 freeways! I'm supposed to be in other countries meeting lovely people, sharing stories of my life, and hearing stories of others, sipping wine with new friends, clanking steins with people that speak a language I cannot understand, and embracing new lands, scenery, new adventures like scuba diving, parasailing, hiking up volcanoes, spending time in wildlife conversations, and much, much more!
Interests
Reading, writing, drawing, painting, playing piano, writing lyrics and music, working in Photoshop, making jewelry, telling my crazy stories to my nieces and nephews. I just recently fell in love with sky diving (and the handsome instructors lol).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jump out of a plane although I'm terrified of heights! Free falling was just like the way it felt in my dreams.
How did my mind know what free falling felt like prior to jumping out of an airplane?????
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have so many stories to share from sweet and humbling, fun and crazy, sad but memorable and worth pain, to motivational. I make friends anywhere I go, while waiting for the train, being on the train, riding my bike, having drinks at a restaurant or bar, volunteering, watching a concert, and my personal life with family and friends--there's always something I can share with you.
I'm polite, respectful and would absolutely love to hear about my host's life, and most importantly I would love to meet hosts that have the time to spend with me to take me to his or her favorite places. I'd like to see life through a local's eyes.
