About Me

I am a singer/songwriter, a playful being of joy and optimism, and a seeker of depth in balance with lightness. I am a mystic and orient towards life in terms of my relationship to the archetypical expressions of Divine Mother, seeing life through the lens of myth and magic. I love to travel as a way to get to know the world and to get to know myself.

I am currently a graduate student of Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Expressive Arts Therapy at California Institute of Integral Studies. I am also mother to a wonderful 12 year old son.

Some of my interests include ritual, nature, music, and dance. I am excited by my studies of the healing capacities of expressive arts. I am particularly drawn to work with children, adolescents, women and elders. I am delighted by the simple things in life: flowers, the feeling of sand between my toes, deep connections, good belly laughter, the twinkle in the eye of a child.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think hosting and being hosted is the best way to get to know new places, through the eyes of locals! I am interested in building relationships with people all over the world as I believe this is the true pathway to peace and global understanding. It's also fun! And as much as I love to go deep with people (and I do!) I also love to play and enjoy the lightness of life. This is always delightful in connection with others! I have had wonderful couchsurfing experiences in the past and look forward to a new chapter of building connections with people around the world.

Hiked Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am hoping to explore culture, music, art, alternative community, nature, and spirituality. I desire a balance of connection with my hosts and independent exploration. I would love to be offered tips of favorite local places for me to check out on my own, and am open to doing some of this together with a host if the connection is feels right for all and host schedule allows for this. I want to go to a few different cities and towns and am open to recommendations ahead of my travels as to where may be fruitful places for me to visit given my interests. I am happy to share my heart, my music, and my joy with my hosts!
