I've lived most of my life in Colorado, but spent a year in college in Hawaii and a year teaching English in China. My family went on a lot of road trips growing up, so I've been to 38 states and many national parks. I currently live in a small but tight community of close friends, and have grown to love connecting with people through sharing life experiences, and good food :) I enjoy most things crafty or creative, good literature, exploring and adventuring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I miss having an excuse to travel, and I'm really interested in the idea of making friends around the world, learning from people, and seeing places I visit through the eyes of the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music, but particularly jazz, soul, pop, and singer/songwriter. Movies I've seen in the last year that I really liked were La La Land, Arrival, The Big Short, and Spotlight. Books I've read in the last year or two are Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Daring Greatly, Sound and Sense (a poetry book. Still in progress), and Love Does.
