About Me

Hi I'm Sarah!

I'm a colourful Dane making my way around southern Europe this winter. Usually I live in Sweden but since I like sleeping in my tent and hitchhiking around it's more convenient to be in warmer climates. Hope to visit different projects, eco-villages and meet some of you fantastic persons out there on my way :)
I'm pretty easy-going and open-minded, I'll clean up after myself (and you, if wanted ;) ), I don't need much to be comfy and I just really enjoy meeting new people and discovering new relationships and places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the perfect way to travel around and the perfect way to exchange so much with strangers. I love the idea of not using money, that way we are forced to show thankfulness in other ways like sharing knowledge or a meal together!
Until so far I've used Couchsurfing in SEA and Australia so I'm eager to get to experience what Europa has got to offer :)

Interests

My passion in life is at the moment permaculture and a sustainable lifestyle and everything that comes with it!
I love gardening and growing my own vegetables and having different outdoor projects going on. Physical activity and meeting people lifts up my energy a lot, so I do this often. I can enjoy relaxing too but usually I get restless after a while. I like to play games, do acrobatics, play an instrument, talk, walk, dance. Yeah, there's not so much that I don't like :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to dance to disco music, I enjoy watching nature documentaries and I love to read books that teach me something new ***

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a teenager I won the Danish championship in synchronized swimming!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to exchange knowledge and skills <3

I can talk about peace, permaculture and other random things that you would be intrested in knowing about. I happen to know very much about German history by the way.

I like to play the guitar but since I'm learning it would be awesome if you could teach me or we can try to learn together! We can practice acro-yoga together if you want. I'd love to learn more about how to paint and work with different kinds of material :)

Love to share knowledge about recipes, cooking, food and how to grow our food be it on the balcony or in the garden - or how to find it in the dumpsters ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's share a meal, do something adventurous, tell each other random stories of life, play a music quiz and anything of what I wrote above!
