Overview
About Me
Well... I love meeting new people and love story time. I'm outgoing and l love to workout. I'm into health and fitness and helping others. I have a huge heart and do believe in karma. I'm down to try new things if my life is not jeopardized lol :P I grew up playing sports; soccer, softball and volleyball. Something you may not know from just looking at me is that I have been decorating the Rose Floats (new years day parade celebrated every year in Pasadena California) for the last 15 years and I enjoy knitting on road trips. My favorite food is sushi and lasagna. My second language is American Sign Language and I am grateful to be part of their community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The only way to explore a new place is to do it like a local, but the problem is I am not a local when I'm traveling :/ Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to meet and mingle with locals and really explore the ins and outs of their culture; best advice on what to see and what to do :)
I'm open to learning new things. I'm hoping to see things that aren't in the guidebooks and dive headfirst into my host's culture. I would love the opportunity to make new friends no matter what city or country they live in.
Interests
I have many interests:
Having fun, knitting, arts and crafts, working out, playing sports, food, music, movies, planting, hiking, playing with my dogs, hanging out with friends, beach days, clubbing, watching t.v (when I have time), snowboarding, horseback riding, and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm open to all types of music. Listening to music kinda depends on my mood. Music energizes me and turns a frown right side up :p
Movies: My favorite genre of movies are comedy, action, adventure, and romance.
I stay very far away from scary and horror movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the opportunity to travel to Brazil to watch the World Cup in 2014, but the one amazing opportunity I got to experience was seeing one of the "New Wonders of the World". I saw Christ the Redeemer Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and it was the most breath taking sights I have ever seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know their is a lot my host and I can feed from. How our childhoods/ growing up is different or the same, to how we cook and prepare food. I think that is why couchsurfing is such a great opportunity. Learning and sharing our experiences. I think one thing I could share (if my host is interested in ) is American Sign Language. I truly think communicating in 3D is something so cool and makes you view language in a different way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would say a different view on life. We all see and experience things differently. I will share who I am as a person and any helpful tips from where I live if they are interested in going to visit the United States. I am a tidy individual and I will make sure to clean up after myself. I will respect your home as if it was mine and will respect all rules :)
