Hey! I'm Sarah and I've just moved over to the USA to pursue a career in either film, tv or theatre. I love to work behind the scenes on productions and occasionally enjoy acting. I've been working retail the past 4.5 years and am currently working at Banana Republic in Portland, OR as well as working at a local production company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I think it's a great way to meet other travellers like myself. I plan to see as much of the US as I can while I'm here and I'm sure there are others that want the same. I recently tried Airbnb in Portland before I found my own apartment and we've ended up as good friends and I'd like to continue that with more people and maybe even host in the future.

Favourite music is tropical european house e.g. Kygo, Sam Feldt, Lost Frequencies
House music like Avicii, some top 40 music, 80s and even some rock like Guns'n'Roses and especially Queen and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I love comedy movies the most. I also like action films and disaster films and treasure hunt films. LOVE Harry Potter, Star Wars and Disney/Dreamworks animation films. I especially love rewatching cartoons from my childhood because now I understand the jokes and adult humour!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my humour. I can also share values like respect for the host's home and their willingness to provide a great travel experience. I'm happy to clean after myself and help with cooking/groceries if that's what some hosts expect. I'd also invite the host to share adventures with me if we get along great! (Which I'm sure we would!)
