About Me

Hi!

I'm Sarah! I'm from Washington DC area, and I am graduating from school in Boston soon :) I'm an epidemiologist, but I love to sing, paint and cook for hobbies. I LOVE to meet new people. I'm easy going and I love to learn new things and discover new places. I think the best things in life involve making genuine connections with people, and so I seek out opportunities to do that :)

I live with very minimal possessions, because I value opportunities to meet people and go places more than I do objects. I tend to keep my living situation small, so that I can go places and do things and meet amazing people.

Anything else you'd like to know about me, please ask! I'm an open book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to discover new friends, new places and new experiences. I've been doing solo travel for a while now, and I love it, and love to discover local cultures and fun people! I love to be around people, rather than staying in a hotel or something of the like, and couchsurfing is a great way to do that :)

Interests

Singing, painting, old movies, tea... lots of tea. :) I read quite a bit, anything from science to philosophy. Something I love to learn about when I visit different countries is the type of plants that each place has that are medicinal, and how different cultures use these resources to cook or for other purposes. I also love podcasts, LOVE.
