Hey i’m Sarah, I'm 21 and I'm from Malaysia!
I'm currently a student living in London studying Geography and a bit of economics.
I've got a passion for traveling, hiking and backpacking, and love anything to do with adventure! I've been to over 35 countries and have volunteered in East Africa and South Asia with kids.
I box, gym and keep fit in my spare time, and volunteer with several organizations including Red Cross, Population Matters and ONE - I'm really interested in organizations looking to fight global poverty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love meeting new people and learning from them. I love sharing my Malaysian culture with others who are interested, and love learning about other cultures in return - especially the music, but also languages and food!
I'm a very fun, talkative and enthusiastic person who's up for anything, so I'm interested to meet as many people as I can so we can learn new things about each other!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about Asian culture - especially Malaysian culture, including the language and food (our food is amazing!)
I'm also half Indian, so I can share with you this music, languages and food too!
I study Geography, and so anything you want to know about the world - come ask me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of knowledge I have gathered around from all over the world through my travels. I'm a big economic developmentalist - and therefore have a real passion for understanding the society and economy of the countries I travel to, including poverty, inequality, crime and culture.
I'm also fluent in English, very strong with my French and intermediate with my Spanish. I'd love to share these languages and learn more from the hosts I meet!
