The Irish invented couch surfing- true story!

It would go something like this; of a Thursday you'd get a call, your Aunt's Friend's Nephew is moving to London and will be staying with you till he finds his feet... he'll be there tomorrow, go pick him up and make him welcome...

Or you'd come home to a cousin's friend putting on the kettle cause they were told where the spare key was and they'd be bunking down for the night....

You get the gist - but I only used this site once... heading to Eindhoven where no one I knew knew anyone - it was a hoot... But we went back to the old way, picking up hitchhikers - who've now basically become siblings... and "landing in on people" as they say...

I love meeting people, having deep philosophical conversations... a bit of craic and seeing how locals live in their cities.

I've lived in the UK and Ireland, and traveled across Vietnam, Denmark, Myanmar, Scotland, Canada, Poland, and a good chunk of Europe.

Architecture background, into integral development coaching, and yes - I'm the classic ADHDer who loves life's spontaneity!
