I am 25, Scottish, I will soon be living on a farm with my mum, dad, dog and a herd of alpacas. I also have two brothers, a sister-in-law and a niece who will soon be celebrating her 1st birthday.
I love travelling, meeting new people, having new experiences, adventures and challenges.
I love all things that are active, outdoors and social. Dance, yoga, hiking, cycling, swimming, animals, theatre, music, food and seeing the big famous sights as well as the smaller community specialities.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am currently on a three month trip to travel Europe, learn more about people, cultures and languages. I am doing a mixture of workaway and teaching English. I have a few free days in between each workaway placement. I have loved staying with local people in the countries that I am staying in so much that I would like to continue the experience and meet more people from more countries rather than stay in a lonely hotel room.

Intereses

I have trained as a professional contemporary dancer and so I love all things to do with dance, art and theatre and am very interested in a country's traditional and contemporary art scene.
I love trying new food and activities.
Recently I have discovered a love of learning languages which is something new for me. I get so excited by each new phrase I can understand or speak. Opening up new ways to communicate with new people.

Music - I have a very ecclectic taste, but generally anything that I can dance to. Funk, folk, pop, country, reggae, classical.
Movies and books - I never watch or read a book/movie more than once because I always want to experience something new.

I ran a marathon 26.2miles or 42km to raise money for Alzheimer's even though I hate running. The training was so hard but the run was amazing!

I am on this journey to learn about Alpacas. Amazing animals originally from Peru. I am starting an alpaca farm in Scotland with my dad and so I have been staying on different alpaca farms in Europe to learn about how to care for them. If I stay with you, you will then be welcome to stay with me on the farm in Scotland and visit them when I get back.
