Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey there friends! I'm quite the goober from sunny California and am currently spending my third year of college abroad at the University of Ghana! I am traveling outside of the U.S. for the very first time am beyond stoked to see all that I can of our beautiful world.
I am easy-going, friendly and love to meet new people who share my love for food, good laughs, and good times. I tend to be quite the goober at times, so be ready for lots of bad jokes. Nevertheless, it'll be a time of constant smiles and I mean, who doesn't love bonding over a good laugh?
I am half Thai and half Irish (yes, people say I'm "Thai-rish") and I love Pad Thai! I also love crafting, going outdoors and baking! I have four sisters, a niece and a nephew (family is a pretty big deal to me). Being an aunt is by far one of my favorite things.
Friends say I have a "pep-in-my-step" and that I have a positive perspective on things and life in general. I have quite the amount of energy, but it allows me to enjoy life to the fullest.
I love taking fun pictures with my GoPros because they capture everything and some of my most fun adventures.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
To see as much of our lovely planet and the multitude of cultures she entails. I love to meet locals, hear their stories and share some of mine as well! Also, it'd be stellar to get the low-down on your favorite places to go!
Also, getting to know new people is one of my favorite things to do! I'm quite the sociable person :)
Centres d'intérêt
I'm always down for anything that has to do with good food, laughing, baking desserts, going outdoors, looking at some rad art, dancing, or listening to snazzy jams (pretty laid back, so I'm always up for an adventure).
Being around people who spread positivity and aren't afraid to be themselves: those are my favorite qualities in people. Personally speaking, I think those are the best. Life is always better when your laughing.
Being positive about life and always having a good laugh. Any kind of animal will seize to fail in putting a smile on my face (sloths are my all time favorite though).
In the past, I've played water polo and swam (never played in college, but still had fun doing it in high school). Back at my host university I was on our club rowing team and I am currently on the University of Ghana's swim team. Basically if water is involved, I'm in. Learning to surf is still on my bucket list! I love learning new things but just be patient with me :) I'm not the most coordinated person, quite the opposite actually, but I take my clumsiness into account while doing my everyday routine. I'm also very passionate about student leadership.
I love working with children and art and crafts are my go-to. I love having those deep philosophical conversations about life. More importantly, what I love hearing the most, is WHY people do what they do: what people are passionate about and how that drives/motivates them to pursue their aspirations and dreams. If we know our own why, it helps us in all aspects of our life and everything else will fall into place.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I love any kind of music really it just depends on my mood. You never know when you just want to break out and dance or just relax and drink some hot chocolate.
Comedies are by far my favorite type of genre (because who doesn't love a good laugh) and documentaries on animals or true stories really fascinate me.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Well, I'm the first person in my family to ever go to college so I consider that quite the personal triumph :) I am also the only person in my family who has ever been outside of the country.

TEACH
Some pretty great dance moves and fun ways to get energized. I can also make a pretty mean cake-pop for those of ya'll who fancy desserts.
LEARN
Any sort of dessert or food making is great! Like I said before I am up for learning anything, just requires some leeway on your part!
SHARE
Laughs and some wicked good stories about life.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I can attempt to cook and I oddly love to clean things. I have some pretty embarrassing stories (because I'm quite clumsy) that will make for a good laugh.
