I am a scientific assistant with degrees in Evolutionary Anthropology and Neurobiology, currently looking for a job in science journalism. Since graduating University, I have started to do things with my free time again, like traveling, painting, writing, swimming and bouldering. I also like going to concerts and pubs, and I like to play board games and video games, plus of course watching shows and movies. I'm also not averse to the occasional hiking or boating trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like metal, rock, indie, reggae.... anything but hip-hop really. My favorite movies are the lord of the rings and the Harry Potter movies, and basically the same can be said about my taste in books. I like watching horror and sci-fi films, and I like reading fantasy and popular science books. My favorite tv shows at the moment are Game of Thrones (yes, still....), The Orville, Stranger Things, and The Handmaid's Tale.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once dug up 30.000 year old cave bear bones in a cave in Lower Austria, as part of an excursion from the University.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Vienna (good restaurants, museums, sights in general, bars, mini-festivals...) and, if you have time, the Salzkammergut which is in Upper Austria (mountains, caves, lakes... beautiful area. My mum could take us there).
