Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I believe the BEST way to see a new place is with the help of a local! Locals know the best spots to visit, the best places to eat or drink, and can give insight on the do's and don'ts of the area.

Also it is a great way to meet new friends! I love getting to know new people, and once I stay on your couch mine is always open and available to you.

Hula Hooping.. not your average around the waist, I do a bunch of tricks! I will have my hoop with me while traveling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was right after college. My mom got really sick and I moved home to take are of her. My brother and I were her primary caregivers through her rare disease (Cortical Basal Ganglionic Degeneration) which basically made her live life in reverse. We did everything including but not limited to; feeding her, changing her, washing her, and making sure she was as comfortable as she could be in life. We didn't move her into a facility or anything because we wanted her to be with family in the last years of her life. To me this is more amazing than any of my other life experiences because I got to help the woman that helped me.
