About Me
Hello I'm Sarah! I'm a student studying and interning abroad who loves to travel, meet new people, and do cool things!
My current goals other than finishing my International Studies degree, finding a job, finding lifelong happiness are to a) fill my passport before it expires, and b) visit 30 countries by age 30.
I think I've got a good chance of making them :)

Music, Movies, and Books
If you've read Harry Potter we'll be fine.
Also things like Into the Wild, On the Road, I like a lot of historical fiction, but sadly haven't had a lot of time to read things not-for-school in a while.
Movies -- french things, your average chick flick. I'm a bit too impatient for movies, I would much prefer a 45 min or 20 min TV episode (thank God for Netflix) than a 1.5 hour movie. I took a film class once and while I learned a lot about how to appreciate film, I thought the movie-watching requirement was going to kill me.
Music -- any and all and everything. I grew up in a classical music family with a live-in music teacher in my mother, and practiced cello and piano up until 2 years ago. Singing just came naturally with that. But other than classical, Ingrid Michaelson, Coeur de Pirate, Zaz, X Ambassadors, Bastille, Daughter, so so many more that I can't think of right at the moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Krakow Poland for 6 weeks, skinny dipped in the English Channel, worked in the European Parliament, Played hide and seek in a medieval monastery
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: I'd love to just learn about daily lives and what you do for a living -- or as the French say, what you do in life!
Teach: I can teach all about the fun facts of politics (they are there and they are funny, no matter what you might think!), American idiosyncrasies, my photography skills (not professional but really, pretty good).
Share: a meal, an idea, a perspective, a conversation, a cup of tea (or coffee), a laugh.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Currently... Belgian Chocolates, Liège waffles, Polish deserts, a good meal or drink, a listening ear, some intelligent conversation!
I sing and play piano and cello! I can share funny language differences and fun facts!
