Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as a quite active person. I enjoy many acitivities and always like trying out something new. I love doing sports, for example volleyball (indoors or outdoors), running, weight training, and rowing.
I love the outdoors. Since I live close to the Baltic Sea, I love spending time by the sea, going for a swim at any time of the day or night or going to the beach. At times, relaxing with a good book or TV show is just as nice as well.
With friends I like to share some beers or wine at night and go out dancing just as much as just chilling in the park, cooking or playing some board games.
When travelling I love trying new food, exploring the nature, taking photos, or just wander around the streets of a new city. I love languages so I would be happy to learn some new words from couchsurfers / hosts :-)
I moved to Kiel almost 6 years ago now and still love it. There aren't that many reasons to come to Kiel but if you happen to come by I would be happy to share some tips about the city or even explore some place together if there is time. I live in a shared apartment with 2 roomies who are very easy to get along with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best things about travelling is to meet new people and hear stories from all around the world. I feel like the people are what makes a place special and Couchsurfing is a great way to meet and connect with locals and see a place from their perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've always been terrible at picking favorites...
I really love reading and am always happy about recommendations. I like a mix of non-fiction, autobiographic novels, fiction from around the world, feminist novels...
Concerning music I like many different styles, be it rock, pop, indie, rap, etc. I love live music, going to concerts and dancing. I used to play the guitar a bit and am still planning to learn the ukulele. No big skills from my side though!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking in Albania with my best friend from kindergarten is still one of my favorite trips ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can only think of some unfinished skills to share: started learning juggling, some phrases in a couple of languages, lots of medical half knowledge, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If there is time we can try out cooking a new meal or have a drink together. I also like sharing stories of each others life.
