About Me

I live between my hand built house on Galiano Island, and my pied at terre in Vancouver in Kitsalano. Both by the water, I thrive on the space and ambiance of this part of the world. I bike most everywhere in the city, and have an art studio on the east side. I'm driven by A R T and culture, of all kinds. At this point in my life I am eager to plunge into new explorations in other cultures. Things that excite me are good architecture, sustainable food and garden practices, meeting people that have open enquiring minds, and enjoying the beauty of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am just a curious person who enjoys/learning seeing how others live in their cultures. It is enriching to know people in their environs.

It is fun to share and exchange differences and similarities..!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Building a house from the forest floor, with a lot of help from my friends, has been humbling and an honour and being involved in Nature and Community life challenges and inspires me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Over the years I have been involved with various groups, schools and people, teaching physical techniques for quelling pain in the body mind and soul.
Also, I share the acrylic transfer process, in my studio, that I call my< Skins>.

I would love to be better in languages, often I can read them, better than speaking them. Dancing... I would love to learn more Tango, Salsa, swing , Butoh. Any thing that has to do with gardening, seed sharing, methods of growing harvesting etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In the city I can share my (small) one/bedroom pied a terre... across from the beach in kitsalano. right on the bike path, with takes you all around the city.

Lots of good eateries, in this hood, and a Jazz joint down the street. And hey, I just got a nice Couch ! If you are too long for my couch, there is a good floor rug surface, with all the usual camping gear, next to my aqua Buddha.
