About Me

I am on the journey of a lifetime. I currently live in Golden in British Columbia, Canada. It has been my dream to travel and since getting my education and career sorted I figured now is the time! I am an Occupational Therapist and used to work in a hospital setting and in aged care. I want to make the most of this experience away by meeting as many new people as possible and see as many things as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"Never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite, never outstay your welcome, keep your mind open and take in each experience" is my Mantra. I wish to experience life in each place visited and not just what the tourist guides suggest! Money is tight and saving on a place to sleep only helps me to extend my travels!
I drive a 1985 Chevy van named "Fenton" which is set up to sleep in when the weather is warmer so often I am looking for a hot shower and good company.

Interests

I am a passionate surfer- It's my addiction! I am learning to snowboard in Canada and it is great fun! Other interests include health, fitness, practicing kindness and gratitude, Relaxing with friends and experiencing new things!
