I love spending time with people from other nations and of other cultures. It's such a rewarding experience for both parties, I feel. Provides prospective and the opportunity to share and discover layers of humanity and personal experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I called my cousin who was in Kelowna and said” Hey, I’m coming to visit ya!” she said “Sure we'll drive out to Vancouver,” “great how much do ya think it'll cost us to stay out there?” “I was thinking we could couch surf.”
I'm thinking "ok, cool she knows some people out in Van, Sweet!"
I get out there and we get on the road and I’m like who are we staying with she is like oh yeah I gotta find some internet, and I get all confused and she explains "couchsurfing" my jaw drops... this is crazy.

She logs on and has a few final communications with the host. We show up at his house snd he is the coolest, sweetest ( made me a strong warm bitters drink as I was not felling 100%), we stay for 2 nights. Cooked dinner, went out, had an amazing time, and got to hear of his experience couch surfing.

Signed up as soon as I got back to Toronto.
