About Me

Laid-back and eternally optimistic nature lover, fire dancer and ukelele songstress seeking an alternative to the 9-5 and off to see the world before we all sink into the sea.

I'm always up for trying new things. What is life but a set of experiences? I want to collect them all!

I'm using Workaway to volunteer and learn about different methods of eco-building and living off-grid across the world, but between working I'm seeking sunshine, mountains, beaches, dancing, adventure and like-minded people :)

Lets have adventures together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am travelling the world and would like to meet some lovely people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any music you can dance to.. salsa music, ska, psytrance, knees up gypsy-folk-pirate music, political and protest music and then also rock music: so pretty much everything.
Action movies are my faves, preferably with some deep thought provoking plot line, but I also love a cheesy chick flick or anything with Russell Brand acting in it. Just no horror please!
I love non fiction (particularly science) books and fantasy books, especially Robin Hobb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in an entirely off-grid Spanish cave for a month

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing to share my poi skills, songwriting and ukulele skills with the world, in the form of lessons or impromptu performances :D
Also love a good science or philosophy based discussion.
I worked for 5 years with deafblind individuals and have a lot of knowledge surrounding communication with people facing these challenges.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, singsongs, endless positivity and friendship, nerdy and philosophical conversations
