My Name is Sarah, I am 29 years old and I just got to Cape Town to work as a Volunteer for 4 months.
In April this year I came back from my one year backpacking trip through central and South America. I had to much fun, traveled to 11 countries and really enjoyed myself. After coming back to Germany I was working for about 6 months and now back on track 🥳
I grew up in Germany in the Black Forest, where I work as an occupational therapist with special needs children.
I love the Couchsurfing community and heard about it from a friend I met 5 years ago while I was living in the US for one year. It’s the best way to get in touch with locals and other travelers while traveling. I thought what a benefit to get to know the locals because they always know the best spots and really can show you around. I love to meet new people and to get in touch with different cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first Couchsurfing experience I had when I traveled to Santa Cruz in California with a friend. Now I am really convinced about Couchsurfing. First of all we had this amazing opportunity to life at the most beautiful location in Santa Cruz, we got a short but great sightseeing tour and got to know the best bar. Now I would never travel to a place again without checking my Couchsurfing account on people who are free for hangouts.
