I am ex British Army and am currently travelling the world. In the past 2 1/2 years I have climbed an active volcano in Indonesia, motorbiked around Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Driven round Australia, swam with whale sharks in the Philippines, see the ancient funeral traditions in Sulawesi, tramped through the pristine jungle of Borneo etc etc.

I am young at heart, don't be put off by my age.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'minterested in learning about a countries traditions and cultures, often it takes a local to show you the less trodden path.
