Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Sarah, a young Aussie traveller and I’m currently journeying through Asia.
Travel has been something that has shown me the magic of breaking out of my comfort zone and working through fears that have always been limiting. I've found more confidence, inspiration, aspirations and love from the road and all those who have crossed into my path!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing offers an amazing opportunity to connect with locals all around the world and make amazing new friends. And that's what I want from my travels, to understand what it really means for locals to live in the places I visit. I don't just want to be another tourist, I want to know how the world exists in its many facets and what impact I have and what I can contribute back to it.
Interests
Anything creative! I enjoy drawing, painting, writing, photography, hula hooping, music, philosophy, yoga, hiking, basically anything that involves being active and amongst nature.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music and love sharing and exchanging music with others. Currently I enjoy chill and ambient tunes.
I don't often watch movies but I like documentaries and anything that's gets you thinking. I really rate Waking Life.
As for books, pretty much anything that involves self development or helps you to grow your brain and cultivate creativity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Nicaragua.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Yoga :)
Learn: I am always up for learning new things.
Share: Perspectives, creativity ideas, energy, good times!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Firstly, respect and gratitude. It's a wonderful gift to be welcomed into the space of another. Good conversation, creative passion, a helping hand, laughs, smiles and maybe some yoga :)
