Hello couchsurfers and hosts! A little about me…I'm a laid back, mature, respectful young woman whose idea of fun involves exploring, eating good food, and going to bed early. For instance, the clock just struck 10pm and I am having major trouble trying to keep my eyes open. I like a solid sleep. In many ways, I am a 75 year-old woman trapped in a mid twenty-year-olds body.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to Europe for 3 weeks by myself (for most of it), and couch surfing seems like the cheapest, and potentially safest, option for a single traveller. Also it would be cool to get the inside scoop on some of the more non touristy things, like the best cafes and restaurants, venues, etc.

Interests

Some outdoorsy things…A nice stroll through the woods, and more vigorous hikes sometimes. I go to shows a lot, like usually once every week or two. A bit of photography too. I like food. Usually of the healthy variety, or anything chocolate related.

Movies…Any sort of romantic period drama. Or indie comedy. I don't have a tv, but I like old Simpsons episodes, Seinfeld, the Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Portlandia…

Not much of a reader to be honest. But I am currently reading The Silence of Bonaventure Arrow. Haven't picked it up for probably about a month though. I get distracted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is it bad that I'm having trouble thinking of something to write here? Maybe this upcoming trip because it'll be my first time travelling completely alone and without a plan.
