About Me

An open mind and a free spirit with an enthusiasm for life. Love meeting new people, finding new places, learning new things, and exploring all the wonder this world has to offer. Originally from the midwest in the US, I have moved around to several places including Chicago, Miami, and have landed in San Diego - an amazing place with so much to do and see!!

I work in the behavioral health field and am dedicated to my profession and making a positive impact in the world. I also highly value balancing my professional life with a very full and vibrant personal life that's filled with adventure, friends, love, and most importantly, food and wine!! To me, there is nothing better in life than people coming together to cook, to eat, to share their stories, and enjoy each other's company. If you're in San Diego, please come for dinner!! I would love to share travel stories and swap recipes.

I can often be found with running shoes on my feet, a yoga mat close by, and a glass of wine in my hand. I don't go anywhere without my passport because, well, just in case.

Recently traveled through Seattle Vancouver, and Chile and then on to Colombia in February for Carnaval. My summer bucket list includes seeing herd migration in Africa July 2018 so looking for any info or experiences related to travel in Africa!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am passionately curious and so eager to travel to any and every corner of this vast expanse of a planet. I love those who share this genuine desire to connect, to understand, and to learn. I've found those with such a disposition tend to gravitate towards travel and therefore I want to contribute to and participate in making these experiences more accessible to all while creating a network of great friends around the globe.
