About Me
I am looking to cure some of my wanderlust before I settle into a career after graduating from college with a degree in Anthropology and Education in 2018. I've always had a passion for traveling, exploring, and learning about the world, but I have come to the realization that I'm 21 and I've never traveled out of the United States. That's going to change soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting and getting to know people from around the world! I thrive off of sharing stories and new experiences with new people. I am looking forward to stepping outside of my comfort zone and solo traveling around the world and couchsurfing seems like a great way to get to know people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to all types of music and I end up having a good time at any type of concert. I find myself listening to a lot of hip hop/ rap, EDM, and folk music. If I had to listen to two artists for the rest of my life, they would probably be ODESZA and Matt Corby. I love listening to the "ologies" podcast with Alie Ward because I enjoy hearing other people talk about their passions. I like to read ethnographies or books about different cultures. I am currently reading about mountaineering (specifically 8000m) and the impacts it has on Sherpa communities. My all time favorite movies are Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Interstellar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few years ago, I found myself on a spontaneous 24 hour trip from Oahu to Maui. My cousin, sister, and I drove up Mt. Haleakala and camped out in our rental car/ makeshift tent. There was no light pollution so the amount of stars I saw that night was unimaginable. Early in the morning, we drove to the top of the mountain and watched the sunrise. After watching the sunrise, we drove the Road to Hana. We drove around the whole island and stopped for banana bread and took a detour at a black sand beach. The fact that the trip was so last minute, but still turned out amazing even with minimal planning, made it an unforgettable trip.
