Hi my name is Sarah and I’m from Australia! I grew up in a regional area of Australia but moved to Melbourne for University where I completed my undergraduate degree in Media and Communications. I am currently on a lengthy trip around Europe and hope to see as much as I can. I am a very outgoing and positive person and I love meeting new people from all parts of the world. I am very interested in exploring the different cultures within Europe and hope to meet locals along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music, especially music I can dance to! I read as often as I can with a strong interest in historical folklore. I love watching movies, from all genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple years ago I volunteered in a remote town in Nepal, with a population of only 700 people. I worked in the local school teaching English and sustainability practices. Seeing the change within the local community from my teachings, to me was amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer hosts some insight into the countries I’ve visited, as well as some knowledge about Australia and my home culture. I am very accommodating and can adapt to the preferences of each host. If the host is interested in getting to know me I would love to socialise with them and share experiences. I am very friendly and easy to talk to, as such I really enjoy speaking with others and trying new things!
