Hi!
My name is Sarah and I live in Vienna, Austria. I enjoy travelling very much - I love meeting new people and discovering special places. After finishing school I interrailed the north of Europe with a friend of mine and it was a very special experience - we were very lucky and had really good experiences on couchsurfing and met some amazing people. Thanks for that!

This summer I will stay in Vienna most of the time - so I thought it's time to give back! I'm happy to share my couch with you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I like most about travelling is to get to know the culture of the host country and to see how the life in another country differs from my own. In my opinion one cannot understand a culture and a country if one doesn't get in touch with locals - therefore Couchsurfing is the ideal platform. Besides the fact that it makes travelling a lot more affordable it helps building up relationships with locals with whom I can exchange experiences, who can give me tips where to go or even show me around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of German and Austrian artists and groups, but here are a few bands I really like: Frittenbude, Bilderbuch, OK KID, Sizarr, Everything Everything. I also like Kendrick Lamar, Machine Gun Kelly or good old classics like Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody = all time favourite

I also appreciate reading a lot and I should definetely take more time to enjoy a good book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say I am quite experienced when it comes to living abroad despite my age - when I was 15 I did an exchange semester in France and when I was 17 I did an internship on Alderney (one of the Channel Islands).
