Hi! I'm a Hoosier (native of Indiana, USA) living in Bordeaux as an English language teaching assistant.
I love travel for all of the usual reasons -- I love adventure, people are beautiful and interesting, the planet is beautiful and interesting, and I just want to learn and experience as much as possible while I'm here on earth!! (though I'm also open to couch surfing on other planets).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to see the place I'm visiting through the eyes of a local!!! I also love to connect with people from all over the world and gain a sense of global community.

music: currently jamming to Cuz I Love You by Lizzo
movies: Big Fish is one of my all time favorites, also the adaptation of Persepolis
books: Le Petit Prince and Here I Am are two books that changed my being; I love the authors Jhumpa Lahiri, Jonathan Safran Foer, Toni Morrison, Margaret Atwood, Maggie Nelson, and Sharon Olds; graphic novels like Transmetropolitan, Saga, Ghostworld, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayaking through the bioluminescent bay in Vieques, Puerto Rico!!! Skiing in the the alps!!!
