About Me

Hello, my loves! First of all, welcome to "me"! I'm just here on this planet looking for joy, loving lots, and living my best life. I always joke that if reincarnation is a real thing, then I'm probably a new soul. I'm pretty clumsy (but getting better! Practice makes perfect), haven't quite figured out the whole "being a person thing" but I think I make up for that with my passion for life and just generally being easy to amuse. Let's get together and laugh a bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet you! I want to see the world as you see it.

Music. Above all, music. Show me something new!
Sharing humor.
Being outside!! Biking is my fave.
Sunny days and rainy days.
Experiencing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz (Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Benny Goodman, etc), folk (go listen to the Goat Rodeo Sessions... This is very important), classical (Beethoven rocks my world), oh goodness pretty much everything. I'm not exaggerating. I'll listen to Polka, for God's sake.

My favorite movie is Benny and Joon. Dan in Real Life is adorable, and Away We Go has an amazing soundtrack, but I'm a sucker for the classics, as well. I also love horrible Indy movies, what can I say?

My favorite book is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I loved Jane Eyre, but in my opinion the ending was terrible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting married to my best friend was pretty amazing 💕

Teach, Learn, Share

If we meet, we'll also most likely end up swapping music. That's a common theme in my interactions with new people. I have a wide range of interests, so good old-fashioned discussions are very important to me. Being able to listen as well as contribute in a conversation is a big deal. Tell me what you're excited about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My mottos are "See a need, fill a need" and "leave it better than you found it." I like to help. Also, I did kiss the Blarney Stone, so I'd like to say I have the gift of gab! Happy to chat.
