Overview
About Me
I was born in Zimbabwe, Africa, growing up on a large farm. That all changed when, at age seven, my family and I were violently forced off of our land by a rising dictator. Leaving everything behind, we fled to America, where we started a new life, as foreigners. Ever since then people had told me to achieve the American Dream. After seeing many of my peers struggle to chase this dream, I have decided to set out on a Journey of Jobs.
I am currently traveling to all 50 states as I learn a new job at a different business in order to share the success of men and women in pursuit of their American Dream. By exploring different states, a variety of professions, and a range of lifestyles I want to help others better impact the world by finding and doing work that excites them! The best way I can see this being done is through sharing stories of people already living out their passions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love couchsurfing because it is a great way to meet local people and see places one may not find on the typical tourist trail.
Interests
I spend most of my free time eating, traveling, running, hiking, cooking, camping, hunting, meeting new people, doing adventure sports, and trying to get my adrenaline pumping. I am also actively involved in my church, community, and non-profits.
And, if we're being completely honest, I'm secretly a big nerd. I'm in a book club with some friends that meets once a month. I also enjoy a good pun and have been known to make a few cheesy ones of my own.
I love to experience as much as I can in a short amount of time.
