Hi! I'm an American traveler from Minnesota and I have just finished my first year teaching in Madrid, Spain. My friend and I are looking to see some more of Europe's beauty before we go back to the United States for the summer. I love to learn about new places and cultures, read, travel, spend time outdoors, try new foods and explore new places all over the world. I studied for 4 months in Ecuador and have been living in Spain for the past 10 months so I really enjoy experiencing life in new places and seeing cultures different from my own. I speak Spanish fluently and I would love to learn more languages!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting and chatting with locals while I travel and explore new cities. I've heard great things about couchsurfing from other friends of mine who have done it.

I like most kinds of music but enjoy Leon Bridges, The Head and the Heart, Vance Joy, Judah & the Lion, Carla Morrison, Bomba Estereo and almost any kind of Spanish music!
I enjoy the films About Time, The Titanic, Pearl Harbor, and lots of Netflix series such as Planet Earth, Black Mirror, New Girl, La casa de Papel.
My favorite authors are Isabel Allende and Jhumpa Lahiri.
