About Me

ABOUT ME

An outdoor lover and plant nut who loves hikes and quiet conversation.

Into good books, bike rides, Spanish wine, morning tea, campfires, ocean swims, and exploring around. A very low-key sort who appreciates a healthy bit of sarcasm and folks who are really passionate about what they are learning or doing. Vegetarian. INFJ. Quiet and neat, but loves a good laugh. Let's cook and talk about plants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am relatively new to CS and am excited to meet some great people! In the process of moving to a new place so more surfing than hosting right now.

My dear fella Chris and I are taking a short trip to Portland-Seattle this February and figured we would give this a shot! Open to couches, beds and floors of all sorts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Belfast and Kinsale Ireland (through my sister's account) and had a great time. Wonderful to spend time with our hosts, share meals, conversation and tea.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music runs the gamut from sad girl indie rock, to 90's alt, to jazz, to folk, to garage. Currently listening to a lot of Mazzy Star, CocoRosie and Miles Davis.

I'm a pretty big reader nerd (pushes up glasses) and always like to have a few books going at once, with others on deck. I recently really enjoyed reading Finding Beauty in a Broken World, by Terry M. Willliams (all too relevent, hello 2017!) and am now diving into Confessions of a Mask, by Mishima. Always interested in new books suggestions--share your favorites with me! All the books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived out of a backpack with one pair of shoes for 9 months--home is in the small spaces you create and carry with you. Looking to do this again very soon, always.

Teach, Learn, Share

Answers to questions in the veggie growing department, conversations about food systems, refugee rights, food justice and agriculture, a how-to on dream catcher and other string-made constructions, and maybe a song if I'm not too shy.

Practicing Spanish with you would be a dream~*
