About Me

Hello i am Sarah, a spiritual, positive, energetic, English traveler who is currently exploring our beautiful planet. I love to meet new people and try new things which is probably why i move around so much. I have been travelling outside of the UK for over 2 years now. Before that I was living on the road around the UK for 2 years, working in and exploring a different city every week raising funds for incredible organisations and coaching people to do the same and help them on their journey.

I am very open minded, as i find it extremely hard not to be in this weird and wonderful world we live in. I believe being grateful for everything around you is the key to happiness. I also believe the best gift someone can give is creating happiness and beautiful moments. Therefore this is what I try and do with every beautiful soul I meet.
I travel because I love to explore and find people and places that take my breath away. Something urges me to connect with as many people as I can on this planet, I'm not entirely sure why, I may never fully know why, but I have a idea, and I accept that.

Feel free to check out my travels on instagram; @happyscattysoul ✌🏼

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people during my adventures. Share experiences. Share lessons. Share laughs. Experience new cultures. Spread positivity and happiness as much as I can.

I have stayed with some wonderful people so far and made some genuine friends for life which makes me feel so blessed. I can't wait for the day when I have a base somewhere on this magical planet and can host people properly. I had a house share for a short period when I was living in Melbourne and me and my housemates used to let backpackers crash all the time. It was a big fun place to stay as there was 12 of us living there and we had heaps of couches spare :) I try and give as much as possible to anyone and everyone. I love couch surfing because of the community, therefore I like to spend time with the hosts. I'm not that keen on staying with people and not hanging out at all.

Interests

I absolutely love hiking, which is good as I love to keep fit! There is something about the mountains that makes me feel so at home. So at peace with myself. Therefore I try to immerse myself in them as much as I can. I am not a city person, I like quiet, personal spaces where you can connect on a deeper level with people rather than in big impersonal crowds.

The mind, body and soul interests me a lot and I like to read/study this. I have found that on my travels I have learnt a lot just by the different characters that I have come across. I like to do things that challenge my comfort zone as I believe that this is a healthy way to keep your self confident and happy. Change is good. Being scared is ok. There's not much I will say no to!
I love nature, I love animals, I love doing anything that involves helping humans, the environment and animals.
