Music, Movies, and Books

Music
Really just about anything, from classical to deep house! Some favorite artists include Mumford & Sons, Above & Beyond, Ed Sheeran, and Joni Mitchel, and I'm always up for a symphony concert.
Movies
I don't make it to the theaters all that often but I love watching nature documentaries and streaming shows. Latest shows I've been into include Master of None, Transparent, The Deuce, and my guilty pleasure, Grey's Anatomy.
Books
Before my current program in school I was constantly reading. Now I find I have less time to read for pleasure, but I do try to make some time for it, especially while on vacation. I am passionate about mindfulness and lately have been reading a few books on that topic including Joy on Demand, Search Inside Yourself, and Mindset: The New Psychology of Success. I also am picking my way through the Game of Thrones book series.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share a meal, a drink, or a day of exploring with my hosts! I think part of the benefit of couch surfing is being able to actually experience a country, rather than just seeing the tourist sites. I would love to meet hosts who want to share their country/ city with me and am looking to make connections that will last far beyond my stay!
