I'm a 29 yo French woman born and raised in Corsica, a beautiful French island in the Mediterranean sea. I did my studies in Paris and after graduating from Sciences po with a Master of Public Affairs I worked as a business developer and a fundraising manager in Paris and Washington. I also worked two years as a nurse in a veterinary hospital, that was a childhood dream and I'm glad I've achieved it!! For one year I've been in charge of the communication and culture for the French institute and teacher of French as a foreign language, in India and now in Mexico. I love my life in Juarez, Mexico, and I'm planning to travel in the U.S, hopefully using CS (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1) I love travelling, and I love people even more than travelling, so there's not point for me staying in a hotel. I want to meet locals, and learn about them and their way of life. It's always inspiring and it helps open one's mind.
2) I think couch surfing is the best way to get good tips about what to see and what to do, as I am travelling by myself it may also be a nice way to meet new friends and go out with them instead of visiting the place alone.
3) I work in Mexico and I'm paid in pesos (not a lot!) so I couldn't afford travelling in the US and wasting my money in hotels fees!
Unfortunately I can't accept guests because I don't have my own place yet! I'm currently renting a room in a small house in Juarez, Mexico.

I have a great interest in animal care. After graduating in political science, I achieved a childhood dream and I became a veterinary assistant I worked two years in a vet hospital. I also volunteered in a wildlife reserve in South Africa.

I love all kinds of musics. I don't play any instrument yet but I'm planning to learn banjo. I am particularly fond of country music, reggae, old rock, cuban (Buena Vista) & latino, US rap (Eminem), electrojazz (Parov Stelar), some pop music (One Rep..) ..... I'm always looking for new artists to discover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In June 2015 I crossed the Atlantic ocean on a 40ft sailboat with no automatic pilote and no sat phone, with a american skipper and a french crew. Went through a hurricane 2 days after leaving Boston, saw a whale & hundreds of dolphins, ....
