Hey! I'm Sarah and I'm 19 years old . Because I didn't know what to do after finishing school I'm doing a gap year in Australia (beginning: December), which has been my biggest dream since a couple of years, and now I want to make new experiences there. I'm traveling with a very good friend of mine, her name is Carlotta and we are looking forward to making unforgettable memories and new friends. Some facts about us: + in nine times out of ten we are in a good mood (except when Sarah is again loosing all her stuff (like mobile phones or important documents) and Carlotta has to clean up the chaos) + nevertheless we are positive girls who always try to see the best in a situation + we love to hear something about the Australian way of life and maybe you're also interested in our lives in Germany (we could clarify some german cliches (like drinking beer all day long or being stubborn and miserly)) + we don't snore - we don't have a clue what we want to do in our lives after this gap year so we hope it never ends - Sarah spends to much money on things she will never use (like sportswear or running shoes) - Carlotta is addicted to lip balm (even though she would never admit it)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned before we hope to meet new people and we really want to see how Australian people live and how their days are like. Moreover we think on Couchsurfing we can find people as open-minded and interested in foreign cultures as we are. We don't need luxury hotel beds, we just want to have a good time and a simple place we can sleep at.

In general we listen to Hip-Hop, RNB and Rap, but we are also on the dance floor celebrating 80's and 90's hits and after a few beer we also start to sing german songs.

Because we don't have a favorite movie, we only could agree on our favorite series, which is Breaking Bad.

When we are not on Netflix, we are reading: The Fault in Our Stars, Harry Potter, The Big Five for Life

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sarah: I was on top of the Eiffel Tower, which was such an amazing experience because the vibes were very romantic and I have never seen something as beautiful as Paris before.

Carlotta: I made a safari trip through different Tanzanian national parks. It was the most amazing trip I have ever done with my family.
