Hi ~ escape the ordinary 👣

I’ve just finished college and I am taking a gap year to travel and discover what I actually want to do.
I worked in upstate New York for 9 weeks as a lifeguard and swim teacher at a summer camp. After that I did a 1 month solo trip around the states and ended up in California. I had such an amazing time, met so many people and shared memories with people from all around the world.
Next on the agenda; a 1 month Interrail Trip around Europe.

This community seems perfect for meeting people and staying with locals! I prefer staying with someone who knows about the city I’m visiting and it’s great to get lost in conversations about anything and everything.

I like to listen to a wide range of music, most of the time I put a random playlist on depending on my mood or what’s happening around me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed one of the world’s most dangerous active volcano’s last year.
Hiked in Yosemite and got pretty close to 3 black bears!
Went to a reggae concert in Santa Cruz.
Swam beside a wild sea otter in Monterey bay. Also spent 2 full days in Monterey aquarium.
Spontaneously went bowling at midnight with awesome people that worked in a cafe I went into in Salinas.
