Über mich
I was born in a little village quiet close to Chiemsee south of Munich where my family still lives. For studying I moved to Munich. Here I am living in a student residence. My place is really small, but if you don't mind sharing a room and sleeping on an air mattress you are very welcome to stay at my place when I am in Munich.
I am quiet busy with university, but whenever I have time I love to do yoga, go swimming, jogging or just to the gym. I love going to museums, especially contemp art exhibitions, to the cinema, theater or partying. I don't like mainstream things. I am really down everything from HipHop to Dub, Indie or Post Rock, just no Charts ;) I love to stay outside, just for walking around in nature, hiking, sitting next to a lake or enjoying a sunny day with a good coffee. I love to paint and take photos.. also I really suck at both ;) So if you can teach me any of them, I'd really appreciate it :) Else I am cooking a lot. As I am vegan most of my dishes are very plant-based. I stayed for some time in China, India and South East Asia where I learned to cook a lot of great dishes.
And of course I love to travel. The best thing about traveling is meeting new people and finding new friends. I met so many interesting and fun people during my travels and I am more than grateful for all the unforgettable memories!
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
When I was traveling for the first time alone I was kind of scared at the beginning. But I met so many helpful people. In KL a guy who I just met 1 day before showed me the best food I have ever eaten in my hole life! Helped me to catch an overnight bus and introduced me to his friends. We went hiking, to waterfalls, clubbing, sightseeing, to the ocean and they even invited me to traditional weddings. And when I came back later I even stayed at another friends place for 2 weeks. In Penang this really nice girl showed me the island with her scooter and we spent a really amazing day together. Talked about religion, art and partying... In Jakarta I stayed with this girl who was just friends with some of the people I met during my trips. We had some really great days exploring the city, hunting food, going to a spa and just talking for hours, about whatever just came to our mind. In India this really nice guy offered my a place in his hotel. Also I could not meet him, because he was traveling himself, I was so happy some one was just offering a place with not asking for anythg in return, just being so unbelievably nice! In Amsterdam me and my sister stayed at this really awesome guy's place. He cooked one of the most delicious veg meals I have ever eaten in my hole life! Still going crazy only by thinking about it ;) Showed us the city and spots we would have never ever explored ourselves. Took us to jam sessions and an outdoor sauna.
Seriously, I could go on for hours about my experiences in HK, China, Brussels, Düsseldorf,... And just how amazing, fun and helpful all these people were! I met some of the most interesting and caring people. They made me think about things I never considered before, helped me or just laughed with me. I can't come even close to tell anyone how grateful I am about all these experiences. And now, I wanna give some of this back. And of course meet new people and hear new stories and dream of traveling again :)
