Hey my name is Sarah and I’m 24 y/o. My nationality is German. After my Highschool graduation (2018) I flew for 22 months to Florida where I’ve spent an amazing time with my host family as an au pair. This is also where my passion towards aviation arose. When I’ve returned (2020) I’ve applied to a college and started my aeronautical engineering degree which already brings me to now. I am currently halfway done with my masters degree and I’m moving September 2024 for a 6 month internship to Cork,Irland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m using this app because I love the idea of Couchsurfing. Couch surfers have such a positive energy which I really love. You can travel around the globe, meet new people, spent time with them and get to know their city and culture. You see the experience out of a local eye and not of a tourist eye. Couch surfers know hidden places, the best place to eat and other good thing which you would never explore if you wouldn’t stay with a couch surfer. I love to meet other people on my journey, make friends for life, share stories and do some fun stuff together.

Interests

As prolly already mentioned a few times I’m really huge into aviation, and cause my passion was this big I’ve also done my pilots license. This allows me to fly small aircraft with 2 or 4 people in it. Planes make me super happy I don’t have to see them but the sound already makes me all cheerful. I also love the outdoors, go swimming, hiking and just explore the city and make new friends.

Flying to the states for the very first time in the same night when my Highschool graduation party was. After my 1 month stay I decided to come back to the states for a longer time this time.
