Hi, my name is Sarah Sparks, but my friends call me Sparky!

I'm a friendly and warm west coast girl that loves a good laugh and exploring new places.

I'm a first responder in the Vancouver film industry, but I'm making a career change into firefighting. I actually found couchsurfing because I've been looking into finding a friendly face to stay with for a few days while I'm in College Station, Texas. I'll be waiting to start up fire academy at Texas A&M and wanted to get in a couple days early to settle in.

I'll be busy bustling around getting ready for bootcamp, but I'd love the opportunity to get to know the locals before things are dialed up to 100 at bootcamp.

I'm super easy going and would regard myself as a conscientious guest.

When I'm not studying firefighting, you can find me in the woods in BC. I especially love bushcrafting and survival primitive skills. Nothing beats living off the land in nature!

*also, im not accepting guests to my place until after I finish fire academy in the fall. Once that is completed I'm open to it. Just wanted to note that if my purpose for wanting to use couchsurfing seems really self-serving! 😉
