My name is Sarah and I'm from Germany (near Stuttgart). About Germany I love our amazing festivals. From time to time I need to take a break from Germany though and that's when I go travelling. I love going to clubs and dancing all night long but I also like to spend my evenings reading, watching series or playing cards with friends. I always love a good discussion! I could go for a coffee everyday. When I visit a new place I want to catch the vibe of the place rather than seeing all the sights.

I'm pro Asyl and pro #blackLivesMatter also pro LGBTQ+ and I consider myself an intersectional feminist :)

Mein Name ist Sarah und ich komme aus Deutschland, um genau zu sein aus der Nähe von Stuttgart. An Deutschland liebe ich die coolen Festivals. Von Zeit zu Zeit brauche ich eine Auszeit von Deutschland und gehe daher gerne verreisen. Ich liebe es in Clubs zu gehen und die ganze Nacht durchzutanzen aber ich verbringe meine Abende auch gerne mit lesen, Serien schauen oder damit mit Freunden Karten zu spielen. Ich liebe gute Diskussionen! Kaffe trinken gehen könnte ich jeden Tag. Wenn ich an einem neuen Ort bin ist es mir wichtiger die Atmosphäre des Ortes aufzuschnappen als jede Sehenswürdigkeit zu sehen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people. To me meeting people of the destination I'm going to is the best part of a trip. You can lay on the poolside and don't leave your hotel pretty much everywhere. Meeting peole and getting to know their culture is what makes a place special. Also I'm pretty broke ;)

Ich liebe es zu reisen und neue Leute kennenzulernen. Die Menschen aus meiner Wunschdestination kennenzulernen gehört für mich zum besten Teil meiner Reise. Man kann schließlich fast überall am Pool liegen und sein Hotel nicht verlassen. Neue Leute und ihre Kultur kennenzulernen sind Dinge die einen Ort besonders machen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling through Thailand and Cambodia for two months in 2015 I spent a week in the Elephant Nature Park. That's a sanctury for Elephants who are saved from Elephant Riding etc. I spent a week accompanying a group of Elephants through the Thai jungle with some other amazing travellers and also our guides from the Nature Park. That was propably one of the best weeks of my life.
