About Me

CURRENT MISSION

When I studied in Derry, Northern Ireland for my third year of university, I fell in love with exploring new places and meeting new people. After working in the States for a while, I went abroad again to volunteer in Armenia, the country of my grandfather’s family. I officially moved in 2019, became a citizen in 2020 and love this country passionately! Currently, I work as the development officer for a foundation working with youth with disabilities in Gyumri.

ABOUT ME

I'm an adventuress who enjoys visiting scenic and historical places and trying ethnic foods. I generally have a big grin on my face. I love hiking, making puns, telling stories, listening to TED talks, discussing psychology, drinking red wine, latin and swing dancing, reading, watching mystery movies, swimming in lakes, going for runs, spending time with family, and being active.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is an amazing place designed by a wonderfully creative God. There is so much to learn, many different ways to grow, and so many people to meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first couchsurfed in Brussels in 2014, and it was an experience that completely transformed the way I thought about the world, people and travel. I learned that there are big-hearted humans everywhere who want to show others the beauties of their city and exchange thoughts, laughs and experiences with their guests. Since then, I have been so incredibly blessed by hosts in Oslo, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Wurzburg, Stockholm, Gdansk, Warsaw, Bratislava, Kyiv, Tbilisi, Istanbul and Rome! All of my hosts went out of their way to help me and my friends and truly made my trips what they were. Couchsurfing reminds me how great and encouraging meeting new people can be, and how strangers can sometimes be kinder than friends. I am finally in a place where I can host, and I'm excited to give back.

Note: I DO NOT HOST SINGLE MEN, so please don't send a couch request.
